Hi,
I have a pair of Oscars. They have always been very close and always swam next to each other until tonight. They just started to fight and lock jaws with each other. They have been friends for months without a fight. Any suggestions as to what is going on? Are they starting to breed?

could be a couple things ben,

my first impression would be they are preparing to breed?

what size are they and what size tank are they in?

Hi,
They are about 22cm and in a 4ft tank.
