How does the chat work?

click on the chat link, put your forum password in, click 'undock' then keep browsing. The chat will continue to run in the background

Nah isnt working for me, I typed in my password click ok, it just re-loaded and wiped my password. I also changed my password again in the control panel just incase i had it wrong, but no luck
