I would really like to get hold of a list of catfish, plecos, loaches that are known to be in Australia for sure.
Does anyone have a 'link' to a list or  put together list they are willing to share?
thanks

Try doing a search of old posts on Auscat.

I am sure we made up a list there some time last year.   I'm on dial up and would take a week to search

Any one on cable broad band or ADSL like to look and post the addi ?????

It pays to spend a bit of time surfing and going back over what has already been put on the web

As a mod it drives me mad,,,,,,,the same Q asked week after week , and the question has been answered a hundred times.

Caty was good enough to use her time and high speed connection to go back almost 2 years to come up with that one.

It's really great to have the old links. It saves so much time and as well as helps authenticate the existence of species currently said (by somebody who knows somebody, who knows somebody who has one) to be in Australia.
This sort of info helps us newer people decide what to focus our research and study on.  I'm going to try to pull all the info I find on the internet or anyone points me to in to one searchable spreadsheet over the next couple of weeks I was thinking: Date of information, Username, Forum, Species, Location. Can you think of any other facts that might be useful in a list?
Thanks for all your research.

If you don't want your name in the list please let me know.

I can understand why as privacy/security is an important factor.
I am not sure I would want  'everyone'  to know what I had either if I ever get something valuable enough to be concerned about.

I was thinking it would be better putting in the list, not what people owned but what people knew was here for sure.

I think a list is important. It's no good falling in love with something, wasting a lot of time researching, saving up your money just in case and trying to track a species down if it not even in the country.

If you have any ideas on how to put a list together let me know?
