Shits me that people can be cruel to animals.

Boyd? were you giving evidence against her, as in I take it you the one who tested the samples of water?

Its funny I was just talking to my sister last night about fish care
She got 2 small tanks for her 1 girls
And she told me they keep dying every 2 weeks
So I asked her did she look at the ph
She said what is ph?
All she does is treat a bucket of water and puts it in when the water get low
I tryed to tell her how she should be doing it but she still disided it was too had and she would keep doing it how she was
So how many people just get fish
throw them in a tank with all the junk they sell with the set up and don't tell them how to look after them
It shits me how this can happen and all for a $

Savage roo: get her a bottle of geo liquid, prolly save her plenty of bother. IMO

A woman I work with was given a Fighter in a small tank for her son for his birthday. This was in July. The woman then after the third replacement fighter had died asked me if I could recommend a tougher fish for her son as the fighters were too delicate.  I quized her a bit about what had happened to the 3 fighters and it turned out that the first one and tank ect had been purchased at the markets by a person selling fighters in pretty bowls and vases.  They were told that  these fish were tough and didn't need chlorine neutralizer or a heater.

I gave her some neutralizer and had her move the tank somewhere warmer and gave her another of my fighters and guess what.
Hes still alive and kicking.

DamnWoman,
So where did you get these tough fighters from? :)

dammwoman

All fighters are tough :D
Just need Neutralizer, a half descent bowl and a little attention.
