I think any new foods are worth a try I personally am an african and catfish breeder and have been using sera flora for a few years now just recently I tried spectrum foods and have found the difference unbelivable not only in colour but spawn size and everything. My point is we all get set in our ways and don't wish to try anything new I am the best example of this but when you do and see the results it is amazing. I think mac is doing a good thing by introducing something new and if I had discus I would definately buy some but I am more than happy with my results now. I have heard a bit about this food and it does sound good especially for discus and the alikes. So congrats mate on getting everything aproved and hope it goes well for you and good on you for trying to make the qld apuaculture scene better.

hey Mac so far that i have found out the Austrlian Aquaculture industry it is not on there list. it is so stricked for them  that they can not even use salt for any fungal cures.

Mistakes Are Crucial

Gasnitro,

It probably isnt on their list under the tradename NatuRose mate but I can assure you the Aquaculture industry all over the world has been using Astaxanthin laced foods for many years and will continue to do so, its nothing new.

I buy 25kg bags of what they call Prawn Starter, an Aquaculture food for prawns and the only reason I buy it is for the Astaxanthin content, we crush it up and add it to our beef heart mix.  Some of the foods your in- laws would have on their list would almost certainly have an Astaxanthin content, it's very common.  We just very much like the overall contents of NatuRose for our fish, its not just about Astaxanthin. Cheers.

Diddo from me on the Lfs wc foods. another trade name wouldn't happen to be lansey or protoon by anychance. I know these are exy in price and are used for prawn larvae,

MAC.....I've actually looked into NatuRose myself and it seems to be a great product.  I know it is used extensively overseas with good results and comes highly recommended.
If you've cut through that red tape I'll definately buy some off you.
Send me a PM when you're ready to sell it.  Will take 100gr to start with.
Cheers Linda

PM sent Linda.  Fed Ex tracker tells me the shipment is in Sydney so it should arrive here over the next couple of days or so.

i just reciece my info from Valerie L. Harmon with the analysis report and pricing.  not bad for a 1000kg of the stuff. 8O  also the smallest they sell it in it is 1kg lots.

Mistakes Are Crucial

Hi Gasnitro,

They might only sell in 1kg lots but we have repackaged it into 50gm jars, it arrived yesterday and will be ready by the weekend.
