Damo not a good idea mate there is a 0.001 chance of it working and it has worked before but i have never seen it they may put up with eatch other for a day 2 maybe even a week but then you will wake up with a dead or smashed up toga i would be happy to just have the one healthy one thats putting up with haveing other fish in the tank with it as i no many ppls toga''s will not even allow that..IMO..<

hey guys<
><
>thanks for the advice... he has put the new one in a separate tank cos it was a lot smaller than he was told it would be, but for free you can''t complain!!<
><
>the tank he put it in has africans in it... anyone had this combination before?? did it work??<
>he doesn''t use any buffers on the african tank and has a heater...<
><
>thanks<

Damo what will work for one person will not work for others i have kept the weirdes @#%$ in with each other like Discus with Dimi eye bitters (fine)  40cm Jardini with small convicts. (fine) Frontosa in planter tanks with Discus, Toga Distracodus multisexfacculatis (spelling) But a tank buster they got on fine ....to just name some But as i said these were just trials and also i have had things go rong But you would be surprised what some fish will put up with as far as room mates go.<

well he has decided to part with the toga... it won''t let any of the cichlids around the top of the tank (especially when feeding) and he''s had a few africans die lately.<
><
>thanks for all the help guys...<
><
>put this down as one that didn''t work out...<
