>The strands are not in chronological order atm, which is a bit of a pain, but there is prolly more there on peppermints than any other site on the web,,,,,,and it is all Australian !!!<

I think they are laying right now because Male is backwards in log and Female is behind him.

Don''t mean to be rude, but do you mind me asking how much you paid for each pair?<
>i have been chasing a female for a while i am starting to think i will have to buy a pair instead, as nobody wants to sell just a female  <

Females will always be more sort after than males by
eeders because they are harem spawners (Males will mate with multiple females).<
><
>But on the other hand, hobby tank owners, display tanks etc.. prefer males for thier head decorations.<
><
>On a site like this females are hard to come by, but in the common press females bob up at bargain basement prices from time to time.  I have seen large females @ $50 and less in the trading post if you are quick enough.<
><
>I know of one instance where 2 adult, proven
eeding pairs, including the 4 foot tank they were in sold for $200.    The buyer spawned both pair within two weeks of buying them.<
><
>On the other hand I paid $150 for a proven
eeding male who is in with 3 females atm and has not done a darn thing in two years!!!<
><
>He is about to get the flick as I have a couple of young males ready to take his place  <

8 Pairs 10-15cm cost me $1300 about 6 weeks ago which i thought was ok, it was quick sale due to the guy moving overseas.<
