><
>there was 4 in the tank, 3 juvies and 1 adult.<
>the juvies appeared to have a leopard skin pattern and the adult more spotted.<
> <
>i''ve just found that they''re called Synodontis Catfish.<
><
>just thought this a little intriguing and bizarre.<

I don''t have any yet but will soon. I have a mate who bought about 15 at about 2cm. It was funny because at that size they swam the "right way up" and schooled predominantly. Then after having them about 2 months they flipped over and started swimming upside down and no longer tended to school, spending most of their time in 2 or 3''s or even off by themselve''s. Anything that spends most of it''s life going against the norm is sweet to me. <

Yes,  interesting, specialist fish!!  They are real good mozzie hunters. They will survive on floating prepared food, but if you have ideas of
eeding, bettter grow some mozzie lavae<
