Water tank as pond, wat u think?

hey guys im doing a pond in future and was giivin the suggestion of getting a water tank diemsions eg 3m x 1m x 1m.
then digging a hole almost a metre deep put it in.
i think it cheaper and more safe than most products.

any bad thing about doing this

i had a thought about pool fence laws but i checked and ornamental/fish ponds are exempt from those laws.
