Monos, Scats

Does anyone out there keep these in straight freshwater or water stained by tanins??

Info on them would be great!

hey,
i have kept monos in soft tanin stained water but mostly with africans. If you are good at fishing you should be able to catch a few monos and convert them over from salt to any type of water in about a week... i just change a third to a half of the water each day until it is fresh....
just don't put monos in with silver dollars.. the dollars get nipped to pieces
