Lois, Quick question...

Do gibbiceps keep their colour/pattern as they grow older or do they lose it? If so is there any way to minimise the loss?

I hope they dont lose it cause i have a little guy with wicked colouring at the moment, almost looks like another type.

Cheers

like all catfish these things can change in a heart beat going from blotchey to superb colors quickly. gibbies are pretty good in the right conditions they can maintain pretty good color although they do fade a bit but not too much. Ive seen a stunning specimen at over 10 inches   peter
