Hi, I have a pair of angelfish in a one hundred and twenty litre tall aquarium who have been fighting with one another for the last month or so. Previously they have engaged in mating displays and one of the fish has laid eggs on numerous occasions. I am not sure whether I have two females who are pissed at one another or I have a pair who are wanting to mate but for whatever reason are not doing so. I was wondering if anyone in here who has e+perience with angelfish could tell me what was happening here please. I am going to sell these fish if I cannot find a resolution to this conflict soon because these fish have done and are continuing to do damage ot one another.

Thanks to everyone who replies, I will be very appreciative for any help.

luke,
its hard when you only have 2 fish in the same tank, and not sure of the sexes.
maybe try getting a few more or even some small schooling tetras or barbs just to give them something else to chase or keep their minds of each other....

cheers

My bad wrk... I forgot to mention that they are with other fish at the moment. They are with some rams and tetra's aswell but they have continued to fight regardless. Any clues?

Cheers again.
