As per title does any have know of a manget/solenoid valve that will suit a TUNZE regulator, and a good place to purchase it.  I have tried a Dupla but it does not fit, and I don't want to know about AZOO, it seems most places are out of stock of aquamedic so I have not been able to see if they fit.

Thanks

am i correct in saying you need a solenoid valve that can run hose as input and hose on the output of the solenoid valve ?

if that is the case then the aquamedic or the sera valves will be suitable.

personally i prefer the dupla as their solenoid is a direct bolt on unit and on the tunze pressure can build up betweent the solenoid valve and regulator and blow the hoses of their clamps.

hmm good question I was thinking about a set up that has the solenoid before the needle valve as per the azoo, but I could put it hose to hose I guess.  The brass nipple on the dupla is too small for the thread on the tunze, otherwise it would be ok.

i think you will find the solenoid valve normally goes after the regulator otherwise the gate on the valve will need to be a lot stronger.

this place has CO2 gear at reasonable prices

they also do a regulator and solenoid valve MA957 for $150

There seems to be a couple of places to put it, either btn the needle valve and hose, btn the regulator and needle valve, or just in the hose.  I have tried the AZOO brand and after returning 2 with faulty soleniods I think I would rather stay clear of the cheap brands and get something that works.  I already have a Tunze regulator and just purchased a Dupla solenoid today but I think I will have to return it and get something else.
