So I had the mighty fill up-day, today on my 4footers setup.<
><
>Anyways I have glass weirs surrounding my drains and it seems on 2 tanks I guess I haven''t siliconed well enough   as the inside was bloody hard to get too as it was deadset underneath a cross
ace.<
><
>Anyways I only filled the first tank a total 2inches before a pool of water started forming around the bottom of the weir. And the other tank I got 5inches of water before a tiny leak started letting a little water in.<
><
>So I''m at a loss here, I''ve cleaned the water out until under the leaks, but I''m not sure what my best option should be, to razorblade off the silicon and reglue the whole thing or just where I think the leak is, or to just let it leak alittle(which I''m guessing is a real bad idea in the long run). fish fish fish fish turkey fish fish gobble

well the main idea of the wier is so when the power goes off you can only drain your tank to the top oif the weir, but if it leaks then when the power goes off it will slowly drain down the the leak.<
><
>so i would fix it...just slice the silicone out and run a new bead with your finger....if possible<

Yea thats a good point, I sliced away at where I thought it leaked and would leak and packed in alot more silicon and just ran a few more lines around the edges.<
><
>I''ll refill it in a few hours and hopefully fingers crossed it won''t leak.<
><
>Good news is that my 3rd 4foot doesn''t leak! But that tank was alot easier to silicon. fish fish fish fish turkey fish fish gobble

just put a pipe from the hole in the bottom of the tank and cut if about 10mm lower than your weir<
><
>then if power goes of no problems..<
><
>and it stops the water fall over the weir and the noise<

Will that work if the hole is on the side of the tank and not on the bottom?<
><
>Anyways after a few trial fills/empty and resilicon I''m pretty sure I have no leaks in both tanks and if I do they''re too miniscule to even notice/worry about. fish fish fish fish turkey fish fish gobble
