fishybusiness

cheers dose anyone make this and use it

I use roughly 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda and 1/2 tablespoon epsom salt per 8 litres of water.
This is about 1/2 the cost of the cheapest stuff at the pet shops, and if you buy in bulk from somewhere like bonlak foods its about a 3/4 off that again.

I was doing this but have that aquasonics worked out cheeper per kilo to buy from AOA if you buy the 10kg lot it works out $5 a kilo $7 including postage just my thoughts thats all as I know the salt and epsoms salt are about $6 a kilo all up to buy from the produce store and the baking soda takes it to about $9 per kilo I also used the pool hardner as I do tangs which is $8 per kilo in bulk. Which works out to be about $23 per kilo just what I have found that's all.
don't just want to breed good fish I want to breed WOW fish.

FISHKEEPING IS MORE THAN A HOBBY IT IS A DISEASE MAN!!

I also use the aquasonic riftlake, as i get 25kg bucket pretty cheap, but i think it is still cost affective to make your own.

Dont forget if you buy 5 kilos of individual stuff for $8 a kilo and mix it, thats not $40, thats still $8 a kilo
