Come and have a feed & a beer in Emerald

Hi all,
Organising a get together here in Emerald, anyone is most welcome to come. It will be on the 25th or 26th of Feb, have to check with Andrew (fishtrader) on which one suits him best as I think there will be a tour of Underwaterworld, aka Andrews fish shed, in Blackwater earlier in the day. Then on to Emerald for lunch and a beer or two. I know another guy here that has a nice setup as well, should be able to organise a looksee at that as well. Bring the missus/kids/mother-in-law, whatever takes your fancy. So, who's up for it??

I agree champ, it isn't that far, quick Ipswich up to Emerald too, out through Dalby, Miles and up to Emerald! 110km/hr most of that way too so quicker than me heading down from here i reckon...

Well, i think that weekend could be a goer champ, unfortunately Lloyd will be in Brisbane which is a shame, but i'll talk to the 'boss' about it and get the go ahead hey :)

Shame Lloyd can't make it, maybe next time. It's the only weekend that realy suits, unless I leave till about six weeks later, but I reckon we'll nearly be organising another one by then. I'm sure the 'boss' will be fine with it, but you just never know what plans have been made on your behalf :lol:   All is going OK over here, cept buying more tanks for the new stand has been put on hold temporarily. We blew a head gasket on the way home from our Chrissie holidays, still in getting fixed, should have it back tommorow. The damage??  $2500!!  Just what we needed straight after Christmas :roll:  Nothing a few OT's won't fix I guess. Nevermind, at least the fishies are all going strong.

It would be great if a few lads from Brissy could get together and organise a road trip.....from towoomba to emerald maybe 7-8  hours...

Have exams that week Dave and generally a crazy time but will see what i can do.

I have not personally met you but myself and my partner are very keen to come to Emerald via andrews place for the next CQ get together.  Saturday suits us as we are travelling from Gladstone.  So please keep us in the loop with any changes of details.
