Why aren''t there more Apisto''s and Julies ??????<
><
>Price   Dyce.<
><
>There are always nice apisto''s around from time to time if you want them.  But even common species like borelli or agassizi are going to cost you $20 or more per fish, and be prepared to pay like $50 and more for some of the more desirable species.<

If your wanting some nice apisto''s, I wouldn''t mind going 1/2''s  or 1/3''s in importing some. apistodave (David P. Soares of Soares and Romer fame- needless to say good quality fish), charges $100US delivery plus the cost of the fish off aquabid (10-20US) and thats at least 4 pairs for that delivery price, PM me if you (or anybody else) is interested.<

A word of warning Andrew, <
><
>Been there, done that.<
><
>Remember conversion rates,,,US$100 freight for 8 fish is AU$134 = $16.75 per fish freight only!!!!  + $27 cost of each fish for average species,,, + AQIS inspection fees,,,+  customs charges,,,+ 2 weeks quarantine,,,,+ DPI/Fisheries fee for release.   The the risk of loss (very real,,,,some times 100%).<
><
>You are risking over $550 with no guarantee of a single live fish in your tank.<
