Its about Time! (again lol)

Ok I think its about time a few LPS
Got a few tanks set aside so the breeders can get a fair go
Selling fish like
E/blues 32$
E/ Yellows 23$
Fronties 78$
White convicts 20$
That way the breeders can get a few more $$ for their fish and the shop can make a % on that
The idear might suck for some but in the long run every one will win
Its the little guy that has to pay top $
What do you think??

bud its just not fish prices, the markup on dry goods is over the top also.

now b4 all the shop owners start jumping down my throat, YES i know you all have to make a living, and dont think they are makin millions, how many lfs owners are driving round in merc's.... not to many!!!

being in business i know the over heads that are involved and if you only knew......and the govt's are makin it any easier....

i know alot of the lfs owners in SEQ and its not us, the hard core fish nuts, that they make their money from, its mum, dad and the kids with one tank.

hopefully WE all know where to get everything at the right price, but its the above that dont.....

sav why should they put aside tanks for us we have the internet and forums to sell/buy everything

if i cant get some e blues or yella's for $5.00 ea theres something wrong....
and im sure you can too.....

for the lfs tank space is money and they would rather put in some thing that they could sell and make good money than go you halfs with your fish....

on the other hand i think that we, the HCFN (hard core fish nuts) do keep up with the market value and get a bit more for our fish as elect, rates, food, (no matter where we get it) and everything associated, is going up in price and the price for the common cichlids have been $5.00 for 5 cm for years.......

any one else have any ideas???
