Look's like one of my crimsons from Carole is holding  8O . Lets see for how long.

I milked a girl about 4 weeks ago and got 14 frys.  The eggs are very tiny compared to other cichlids.

I currently have 3 holding and another 2 ready to breed.

They are fast buggers to catch. I remove all the rocks and hiding places out of the tank, turn the light off and come back in 2 hours before attempting to catch them.  Hope that helps.

Roo if you do have all the same sex you can pop over here I think I have 4 boys and 4 girls. You are welcome to a boy or 2 lol. It is day 2 and still holding. I am going to let her do all the work. I have lots and lots of hiding places for the fry.

  I have 24 and I wanted to get 4 boys and 20 girls.  I ended up with 9 girls and 15 boys. So I'm happy to swap a few boys with your girls too.  The boys are a good 6cm+ and are really fat and full of fight.  Always flaring up and with colours.
