Elec Yellow/Sunkin Head

Hi,
A friend has a large elec yellow that was in great condition, Now just off the top of his head seems to be sunkin in on both sides. He also started getting a lot of black around his mouth. I know some males get that but he only had jet black in his fins and a nice yellow glow over his body.
Can his age be a factor as he has a few years (8 maybe more.


Can anyone have any answer to this.

mate you know what its like when you get old ,body gets frail , bones get fragile and crumble ,8 yrs for a elecie yellow is a good life span , so id say just old age mate.
