Can somebody give me a quick rundown on these fish or share experiences?

Growth rates?
Diet?
Attitude?
Price?

Cheers,
Steve  :D

Truly an awesome fish. Will eat feeders and anything alive until their stomach is so bloated that the scales point outwards. Grow pretty fast but tend to loose the attractive gold flecks on their sides as they get bigger. They are not as aggressive as sooty grunters but they can definately hold their own against some pretty big fish. Mine beat the living snot out of a 13inch dovii male when he was about 10 inches. If i were you i'd get one and put it in with your toga ( hows he going anyway??), size shouldnt  matter, I had very small natives ( 3 inch mangrove jack and sooty grunters) in with that toga before I sold him to you. Just make sure the toga doesnt see you put the fish in and he wont even notice it.

Hey mate thanks for the info    but ive decided to go with some other natives and my toga wouldnt tolerate him anyway, hes turned into a real bully. Even beat the hell out of my 12 inch dat. Probably because you had him in an awesome sized tank, im still due for an upgrade.

But I know what you mean about the toga not seeing other fish in there. Ive actually got a school of 25 swordtails swimming around with him
