Most annoying cichlids?

G'day

I am a lover of cichlids...
BUT there is always a negatave when there is a positive!

Which three cichlids annoy the absolute *%$# out of you?

mine are:

1. Cyrtocara moorii  
2. Pseudotropheus demasoni
3. Metriaclima zebra sp.Orange Blotch (OB), or anything OB! :evil:

How about some reasons why they annoy you? I don't think there are any species that really anoy me, but anyhow, here goes:

1- Electric Blues, bought a dozen as juvies with plans of breeding them, lost a few and ended up with 6 males and 2 females, one died inexplicably, found the other one on the floor one morning. Chucked a darkie and gave the males away!

2- Blackbelt, had two mature Blackbelts once, beautiful fish, in my 8' tank. Tried hard to find tankmates that could handle the aggression of the largest male, (cost me a fortune, went through probably 50+ fish in 2 yrs!). He killed everything that went in the tank, including the other BB, a smaller male. Gave up on him, left him by himself and within a month he turned his toes up and died.

3- Probably Flamebacks, can't breed em, but damn can they fight!

 :evil: Festae :evil: , pugnacious - aggressive - incompatible with allmost all other cichlids......
oh - and a pain in the ass when you want to sell em,
cause no-one wants to take them, 'cept stevey at Aquariums Alive.... :wink:

Apistos, cause except for cacatuoides (cockatoo cichlids) nobody in brisbane sell's them as what they really are so I have to wait till they mature into their colours and then figure them out. :roll:

blue rams cause I did have 2 lovely pairs then in less than a week both females go and wedge themslves between the filter and the tank (2 different tanks) grrrrrrr, man I'm ticked  :x

I can only think of one that deserves a thrashing from me, my beautiful but pain in the arse johani! He used to be the most dominant fish in the tank till I got a 20cm fronnie. Of course straight up he takes him on and nearly gets swallowed whilst trying to rip fronnies lips off the little b*^tard, my fronnies is all peace loving so he wasn't into it at all just defending his cave. Johani's also chased 2 fish out of the tank, beaten up 4 and killed 1. Now everyone is outgrowing him and his time has come :twisted:

Lepidiolamprologus elongatus.
My male was a shit of a fish!! He abused and then killed two of his brethren and then decided to kill 4 more females that i put in thr tank over time. One of the females he decapatated then ate.
So i sold him to a friend.

Well I to have a Johanni He has 2 girl friends but he hates 1 and breeds like crazy with the other then chasers her all over the tank till she spits her eggs then they start all over
He has scratched 2 bige silver sharks,2 of my best peacocks, 1 elecytic yellow, 1 blue zeb
I tryed geting rid of him but know 1 wants him
And my other hated fish are red top Zebs there just as bad as the Jonhanni
and they breed like rabbets
And the daughter came home a few months back with 2 of them just as I finaly got rid of all 69 of them
But they died thank god but its not over yet while cleaning my six foot  I found a few fry so know knowing what they where and U gets it 8 more red top zebs GRRRRR

well i had a male Labidochromis Friebergie and he chased and killed everything else in the tank including my beautilful Marmalade Cat Peacock  :evil:  :evil:

other than him can not think of any others
