I did remember few months ago someone was talking about this market on the 2nd Sat of the month at Living Water Church in Hillcrest. Did anyone been there before and how is it like??? :?:

I have been there its alright i only seen like 4 or 5 tanks going but should be good when more peopel start selling there fish.

Tempory tanks, total water changes, what ever, your newly purchased fish is bhind the eight ball before you even bought it!!!!!!

Hi Alan,

just for your info.

We do not do a total water changes for the "temporary tanks". We bring the same water from the tanks the fish are kept to the market and top up about 50%-60% new water.

We also use a battery operated airpump to run cornet filters for those "temporary tanks" and those corner filters are not new neither.

I bought some of my goldfish from the wekkend market before myself get into selling fish and those goldfish are doing v. v. fine.

We get our fish from a local fish wholesaler who supplier their fish to most local fish shops around Brisbane, so when u walk into a LFS and buy a fish, you might just have bought a same batch of fish that I am selling in the weekend market but only cheaper as we do not have all the expenses a LFS have.

So try it before reject it. But of course I didn't meant all fish sold in the weekend market are kept in good condition. You still need to take every care when choosing you fish just as you buying a fish from the LFS.

Do u know what they sell there??

have u been to the Park Ridge market on the last Saturday of the month?? Did u saw a stall with a trailer and selling fish?? We are that stall.

But we do not sell any cichlid as yet. We only selling goldfish, siamese fighter and will have tropical fish i.e tiger barb, dwaft gourami soon as the weather is getting warmer now.
